One of My Original Chess Drawings at the 2006 Mayor's Cup Super Chess Tournament in New York City with Former World Chess Champion Susan Polgar

5 time Olympic Chess Gold Medalist and 4 time World Champion Susan Polgar in front of my drawing The Concealed Fate of an Imminent Surrender at the 2006 Mayors Cup Super Chess Tournament in New York City at the Downtown Athletic Club
The 2006 Mayor's Cup Super Chess Tournament took place on Sunday and Monday, June 25th and 26th at the downtown athletic club in New York City. On hand were players Gata Kamsky, Alex Onischuk, Boris Gulko, Alex Stripunsky, Ildar Ibragimov, and event organizer and player Susan Polgar. I called my long time friend in New York City, Edward Longo, to attend the event since i had plans that fell on those two days and was unable to reschedule. Susan had Edward on the list as a V.I.P. and he had access to very nice and intimate shots of the event taking place, including shots of my drawing which i donated to Susan and her foundation in support of the event and chess in general. Edward had each player sign the mat inside the frame after the event as it will be auctioned off at an undisclosed time by Susan and the starting bids will be around $1,000.00.

Susan also had me recently design her logo for her foundation and the program cover for the Super Chess Tournament. The donation of the original drawing made us an official sponsor and we had a nice and generous sponsor ad in the back of the program! A very special thanks to Susan and to my friend Edward for helping me and supporting my ambitions.
